Entering a new world of N-Scale trains

When I was young, I've been to a model shop in Mitsukoshi (三越) in Causeway Bay a lot. I was amazed by how detailed and fascinating model trains can be, given that I was playing Tomy Plarail toy at that time :( (I was like 6 and model trains were surely too costly).

In Late 2016, after Tokyo graduation trip, I had a strong interest to Japanese trains again, and I felt like N-scale may be what I need, hence I searched about it and I found out that there's a shop just opposite my house... Therefore I fell into this "big hole" so easily...

Since I'm a novice and I don't have sufficient money for a fancy start-up, so I only bought Tomix basic rail set and KATO E259. There was indeed Tomix set with E259 but it had special logos on it so I didn't like it. This start-up kit costs me HKD1060, that's still affordable to me.

Although I don't like N'EX (when compared to Skyliner), it still is a familiar train to me in Tokyo and it looks not bad, so I chose it. I thought of Keikyu 2100 too but it's a bit over budget so I gave up #@

Once I started my train, I really got surprised by how real the train looks: It looked real and even got headlights (Ugh that's how should feel when you just bought an expensive toy). However, 3 cars weren't enough for me as the real train has at least 6, so I bought extension set, as well as interior lights.

Oh yea, more and more money spent on this damn thing...

My skills are shit... Not sure if I installed the lights correctly...

And so I began buying more and more trains once I got enough money... I still gotta save money for another Tokyo trip, what a dilemma :(
